Ahead of next year’s Africa U-20 youth championship billed for Cairo Egypt, FCT FA Chairman, and Member of the NFF Presidential task force on age grade teams, Adam Mouktar Mohammed has offered words of advice to the head coach of Nigeria’s U-20 team, coach Isan Ladan Bosso to be meticulous in selecting a robust team that understands modern day football, that’ll represent Nigeria well at the tournament.

Mouktar said this when he visited the training camp of the Flying Eagles at the FIFA goal project, package B of the Moshood Abiola national stadium on Wednesday in Abuja, paimedia.com.ng reports.
He noted that the responsibility of winning and losing rests squarely on the shoulders of the coach and implored him and his lieutenants to put their heads together to select the best team.
“the coach is the best man to decide what style, what team, what position he needs concerning how he’s going to set up his team, because at the end of the day he’s going to take responsibility for winning and losing”
“so you must pick a team that is versatile, a team that is robust, a team that is strong enough and a team that is intelligent that understands modern day football”
While offering words of encouragement to the players, the successful business man reminded the team of their support, and assured they’ll be well motivated and properly taken care of, in other for them to succeed at the U-20 AFCON championship next year in Egypt, and to equally have a smooth transition to a higher level for the federation to begin to win trophies, paimedia.com.ng gathered.
“the assignment is for us to ensure that the team has all the necessary support to succeed, that’s the most important part of the mandate and then for us to ensure that the camping is ongoing, the players are motivated & then they’re taken care of properly for us to achieve success”
