Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been assured they have nothing to worry about as it concerns their welfare and remunerations ahead of the U-20 Afcon championship scheduled for February next year in Egypt.
Affirming this is the chairman, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Task Force on youth competitions, Alhaji Aminu Balele Kurfi after a grueling training session by the players of the team at the practice pitch of the Moshood Abiola national stadium Abuja on Wednesday.

Balele charged the boys to show total commitment to the cause, as he vowed not to relent in his effort in ensuring they lack nothing, and are well motivated for the impending task ahead.
The DAN AREWA, as he’s fondly called, also gave a stern warning to distractors in the name of players agent to steer clear from the camp of the eagles, urging the players not to give room for any sort of distraction by agents, saying they have nothing to offer other than subverting their chances of having lucrative deals, even as he plans to scuttle and avert their intentions coming close to the boys.
“I can assure you that you won’t have any financial problems in camp because am here and am capable to provide what you need”
“all we’re asking, is for you to have over 200 million Nigerians on your mind as the motivating factor that’ll spur you to action”
“don’t let agents to come and deceive you, I can pay your agents salaries, you have a bigger platform to excel and give yourselves a better bargain, just remain focused”
The Flying Eagles who emerged champions at a regional tournament in Niger Republic earlier this year, will be taking part in next year’s U-20 Afcon championship in Egypt, in an attempt to secure a slot to U-20 FIFA world cup, Indonesia 2023.
