Respected football administrator and board member of the Nigeria Football Federation Northeast zone, Timothy Heman Magaji CNA has returned to serve a second term in office as the FA chairman of Taraba State.

Known for his prudence and logical approach to the development of grassroot football in the state, Timothy was considered a worthy ambassador deserving of another chance, as he returned unopposed in an election conducted in a conducive and in a peaceful atmosphere which was held at Lassandi Hotel Jalingo on Monday morning, July 12, 2023.

As part of the new and innovative board of the Nigeria Football Federation headed by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, Timothy is expected to use his wealth of experience to drive Taraba State football to the pinnacle of success in his second reign in office.
Close associates to the re-elected and pragmatic leader says, Timothy has more than enough wherewithal in his sleeves to chart a new cause for the state, affirming that he has what it takes to make football an attractive venture for every youth in Taraba, wishing him a successful tenure in his second reign in office.

In attendance to monitor proceedings were NFF Delegation and Northwest Board Member Alh. Rabiu Sherif Inuwa, as well as Barr. Onoja Joshua Co-Secretary. They both represented the Federation as Observers during the election.
The election also had the representatives of Taraba State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in attendance, amongst whom were Madam Indo Maxson Perm Secretary, Mrs. Clara Ministry Secretary, and Mallam Zakari, Director Sports Facilities.
Timothy Heman served the Taraba State FA for 4 years and reflected today to serve for another 4years in office.
