President of the Nigerian Esports Federation(nesfed), Mr. Agbor Clinton has confirmed that Nigeria will send a solid team to the 2023 Afro-Arab eSports league schedule to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Agbor who disclosed this in Abuja on Wednesday said gamers for team Nigeria will comprise both males and females in valorant and eFootball competitions respectively.

He expressed confidence that the caliber of gamers in and around Nigeria that will participate in the league and the inclusion of the foreign-based players will be a major boost to the team in their quest for a successful outing.
“I am confident that the gamers we have in Nigeria, and some of the foreign based players we will be adding will serve as a boast to the team”
“Am equally confident that the players have the wherewithal to compete favorably against any opposition at the Afro-Arab eSports league”
The president of the federation further commended the organizers of the Afro and Arab league competitions for giving the youths the opportunities to excel.
It is believed that the Afro and Arab League will bring out the best of gamers in Africa and Asia competing at the larger stage.
The Nigeria Esports federation has also lined up a series of activities to keep the players in good shape ahead of the event next month which will take place in the Riyadh Boulevard Challange Arena Saudi Arabia.
“We have started talks with play box in Abuja to host the national team of the Esports federation ahead of the international engagement”
“The facilities on the ground at the play box Abuja are good enough to serve as a preparatory ground for the Nigeria eSports federation team for the 2023 Afro and Arab league championship” he concluded.
