Reactions from different quarters is still trailing the recent appointment of Finidi George as the head Coach of Nigeria’s super eagles. Also joining the bandwagon of Nigerian’s to shower his encomium on the appointment of the current Enyimba gaffer is FC Zurich and former Chan Eagles attacking midfielder, Ifeanyi Mathew, paimedia.com.ng reports.
Ifeanyi Mathew who remains one of the most consistent foreign based Nigerian midfielders said he was elated when the news of Finidi’s appointment broke out and believes it’s a job well deserved for the former Ajax winger.

In his words, he said Finidi is a competent coach who has the tactical ability and the finesse to spearhead the Super Eagles. He further wished him success, maintaining the Super Eagles will thrive and will continue to be on a steady rise on ascendancy under his watch, stressing he will bring a new lease of life and will rekindle the hopes of Nigerian’s for a better and a stronger Super Eagles.
