Head Coach of Nigeria’s U-20 national team, Coach Isah Ladan Bosso has confirmed his team are now poised to play NPFL teams before they embark on the trip to Argentina for this year’s U-20 FIFA world.
Bosso stated this on Saturday afternoon at the FIFA goal project shortly after his team defeated Triple O sporting club 3-0 in a friendly match in Abuja.
He told paimedia.com.ng that for time constraint, Lobi and Nasarawa United have become the new options for his team, as their earlier plans to engage Benin and Niger republic for an international friendly will no longer be tenable since the countries in question have no Programs running for their national teams.
“We plan to play Benin and Niger republic which will be a good test for my team, but unfortunately we are now looking at top NPFL teams to play now”
“The countries we want to play didn’t qualify for the world cup and so they have no Programs running for their teams that’s why we want to send letters to the NPFL clubs that are close to Abuja for a friendly match”
“We are looking at Lobi and Nasarawa United because they are close by, but we see what happens” he told paimedia.com.ng
